Niki Dimitras, is the creative that conceptualized these works of art into all of our lives. With the best assistant in the world, her dog Carlos by her side, she is taking vintage style to a new innovative level that would make Cowboys shed a tear of joy seeing their girl walk the streets in these boots…
SM- Where do you hale from and/or currently reside?
ND- I’m from Portland Oregon but I’ve lived in Los Angeles for about 10 years
SM-How did you get your start in the fashion world?
ND- I just started making my own clothes and bags when I was 19 and living in Los Angeles and working at the Wasteland on Melrose with my excellent friend and collaborator Kime Buzzelli.

SM- What/Who is Luxury Jones?
ND- Luxury Jones is a clothing/shoe line made JUST FOR FUN!! That’s the motto. Made for show girls and show stoppers! I like to have a lot of fun and I want to look spectacular and feel comfortable while I do it. I don’t make anything you cant dance in… I believe in dancing!
SM- How did the Luxury Jones boot line come to exist?
ND- I just got this idea one day like 4 years ago to fuck with some vintage boots… So I went out and found a pair, cut em up and that was that. Any time I would wear those boots I would get stopped on the streets CONSTANTLY! So I figured I better start making them for sale…. I still wear that original pair all the time. I wore em today in fact 
SM- The details on each unique boot is just amazing, any secrets you can share about your creative process?
ND- I have excellent sources for the best vintage stuff and I love what I do … Those are my secrets.
SM- What inspires you to create?
ND- I honestly and truly feel compelled. I cant stop. This is what I do. I’m inspired by this beautiful life I get to live in this beautiful world. I can and do find inspiration everywhere all the time.
SM- Top 3 tracks/artists currently on your playlist?
ND- Waka Flocka, Stalley and anything and everything by Dam Funk!!!
SM- You are an Emmy Award winner for the Styling on the TV show Portlandia, That is HUGE!!! What was it like to receive such an award?
ND- Uh, it was beyond all comprehension!! Bob Mackie gave me my award!!!!! I was stunned and looked him square in the eye and said “you’re a god!” I mean, its a trip for sure… I still can’t really believe that its an actual Emmy sitting on my mantle
SM- What can we expect to see in the future from Luxury Jones?

This is what I call extreme vintage. Each boot is one of a kind and unique in it’s own way. Using vintage belts, chains, lace trim, feathers and more on well selected and maintained vintage cowboy boots. Since not one pair is the same the sizes vary per design. So if you see a style you love and it happens to be your size… Do NOT hesitate cause that is the one and ONLY pair in the WORLD that exists…
