A Plastic Peep-toe You Say? Only with Melissa Shoes

The plastic shoe is no longer a myth or a fable. And the plastic pee-toe heel is also no longer a figment of your imagination. Melissa, the shoe brand that made recycled plastic shoes a reality (vegan shoe wearers take note!), is now making plastic CUTE and stylized. Plastic shoes by nature give a lil’ more funk to the foot, so Melissa makes sure to counteract that with some highly stylized plastic. We’ve long been a fan of the brand, and for the upcoming open-toe season we’ve stocked the “Ocean” in both nude and in black. With its many cuts and curves the Ocean makes for a nice alternative to the typical peep-toe in patent you’ll see running amuck soon enough. And the best part? Plastic comes cheap.  Only $90, the Ocean will feel like waves upon your sole as soon as you slip this “plastic dream” on.

Your Plastic Shoe Dreams Fulfilled with Melissa

Melissa Shoes, the Brazilian shoe company, are kinda making stir in the US, and you want to know why? Because of plastic. The company makes every single shoe they design out of plastic. But these aren’t just any old designs. Melissa Shoes gives their designs a quirky flavor, a cute angle, and a stop-you-on-the-street kind of look, you know what I mean? And maybe, just maybe another reason why these shoes tend to get so many rave reviews, is because city girls can wear them in the rain, with all worries aside of damage.

Our newest style for the season is the “Kali.” For $120, it comes in shiny red or shiny black. It’s a cute because of the bow, but it’s practical because it’s a wedge. And it’s a Melissa Shoe because it’s aaaaaaaaall plastic.

If you look closely into the shine of the shoe, you just might see your plastic dreams come true. . . .
