More Fringe, More Tassel: Jeffrey Campbell’s Kelley

It’s more fringe and more tassel from Jeffrey Campbell (and from other designers you’ll notice) this season. With a flurry of details, Jeffrey Campbell always shines brighter than the other shoe brands out there–elements are his thing. In subtle colors of grey and brushed white, the “Kelley” oxford with cut-outs on both sides gives the foot a slim and trim look. For the lady out there who wants to look just a tad dapper mixed with a bit of cuteness, the wingtip detail gives the shoe this melange.  On the very reasonable end of shoe prices, for $106, the Kelley will go with any skirt, tights or shorts as the warmer temperatures move in. And you might notice a pattern here (if you scan our previous posts), but we’re really into stocking shoes this season that go with everything. And fringe and tassel, they go with everything.

Sanita Clog Boot: Theadora

Our last Sanita pair for the season has arrived. The “Theadora” combines all good shoe design elements: One, the oxford. Two, the clog.  The super soft leather in a stone color looks rich against the dark wooden sole, and for only $145, the detail of the studs and lace-up make the shoe pre-tay pre-tay unique. Want to pair it with tights? Do it. Want to slip it on with jeans? Done. The best part to Sanita’s brand, seriously put it with anything, and it will just go. We dare you to find something the brand can’t pair with. . . now that you’ve seen all our styles, do you have a fav? Tell us!

Thank Goodness for G.H. Bass Shoes: Hanna

We’re giving up thanks to G.H. Bass on this Monday. Why? Because they make comfortable, affordable all leather shoes, the key point being affordable. We got these in on last Friday, and they flew off the shelf over the weekend. We’re going to try and place a reorder, but you never can tell, so get them while they’re actually here! They go super cute with cut-off shorts and will work perfectly in fall with some cuffed jeans or black tights. We’re envisioning this buckled oxford working well just about EVERYTHING. And what’s the reasonable price for this oxford? Only $79!! Are you understanding now why these are going, going, almost gone? Get on this dapper style pronto!

Gold Worth Wearing: Seychelles Mercury

Everyone wants some bling in their life–face it and just admit it. Why not look for some to wear on the feet? Nothing like a gold oxford to add a lil’ flair to the foot, and Seychelles has a cute lil’ toe tapper for this purpose: the Mercury. Always placed within their @$100 purchase price, the gold suede leather might just make you want to do some jazz dancing or sweet stepping of your own. Go big and go bling, it’s definitely some worth wearing.

Prospect in Jeffrey Campbel’s Prospect Oxford

Need an easy & breezy (and by “breezy” we mean, “airy”) oxford? Jeffrey Campbell has come up with one, so your feet don’t have to sweat and suffer this summer, yet you can still rock the dapper oxford style in the heat. The designer has done it with his newest creation, the “Prospect,” a mixed material shoe made with canvas and leather (and made reasonable with only a $104 price tag). It’s a statement, non-traditional oxford, just like Campbell (& us) wants to do shoes.  Classic style still rules this summer it seems. . .

Camper Series (II): TWS Oxford

Thought you were over oxfords? Well, guess what? The fashion industry isn’t. The androgynous shoe style has at least another yer in its trend time line, and so we’ve stocked some Camper ones since they offer a more unique color palette than the typical black, white or brown oxford you normally see. An extra added bonus than the oh so cool grey or butterscotch brown? The price, we’re selling them for $135, which is $5 less than the Camper website. Come on and get your “dapperness” on! Camper is calling you!

Blimey! It’s a Seychelles Oxford Heel!

The English have many o’ funny words in their language, and Americans seem to love to take after their lingo as well as their accent. Let’s all admit the attractive quality the English accent possesses. So, want to vamp up a shoe? Name it with an English name, hence Seychelles direction with their Oxford heel: the Blimey. For $110, you can have an extra high heel that looks a little bit English with the Oxford (old school) look. With tights, leg warmers, or skinny jeans, the English look plays out best with this “Blimey!” of a heel. We have the look in black and in clay, both work well with contrasting tights, we think. And even if you’re missing an element to that Halloween costume, you could find the missing link in this shoe. Happy early Halloween!
