Sanita for Spring: Magda

After introducing the Sanita brand into our selection last Fall, we couldn’t stop there and decided to keep ‘em coming for Spring, so we chose carefully. And we chose the “Magda.” My absolute favorite part of the sandal: the studs. These flowering studs give something special to this clog, and is different from the typical “hand-stapled” design. It’s still hand-made clog, but looks a lil’ more polished. The soft black leather is layered in a center tri-fold giving the design a geometric look. Pair it with tights until we make it to the hot season when you can slip these on short shorts. And for a Sanita sandal, $165 isn’t a price to pass up for clog cuteness.

Sanita Clog Boot: Theadora

Our last Sanita pair for the season has arrived. The “Theadora” combines all good shoe design elements: One, the oxford. Two, the clog.  The super soft leather in a stone color looks rich against the dark wooden sole, and for only $145, the detail of the studs and lace-up make the shoe pre-tay pre-tay unique. Want to pair it with tights? Do it. Want to slip it on with jeans? Done. The best part to Sanita’s brand, seriously put it with anything, and it will just go. We dare you to find something the brand can’t pair with. . . now that you’ve seen all our styles, do you have a fav? Tell us!

Sanita Clog Boot: Trinette

Now this last Sanita style (just for this week, don’t worry, if have one more comin’ in the near future. . .) has goin’ co0-coo for clog boots. This beautiful rusty-color (note: in person it is more rusty red than rusty brown) boot takes leather to the MAX–and we love it. The full leather shaft gives the “Trinette” boot something to call its own. Never have we seen a clog boot in this color and in so much fine leather material. Just doesn’t happen, so we had to get it for the store. It’s simple just like Sanita does it right with the leather stapled to the wooden sole, the craft alone on this boot makes you want to spend the $275 to call it your own. Think of it: with tights, with dark denim, with a chunky big sweater, just think, of it as yours. We’re completely 100% for this boot. And for Sanita as always.

Sanita Clog Boot: Lola Mae

Next up on our new styles from Sanita is the Lola Mae boot. In a black or a green-grey stone color, the suede boot has a cool cross-hatch pattern across the entire shaft. One of the more popular styles to have sold already (for only $185), the Lola Mae is simple in style and can become your standard boot for the season–we don’t see this boot not going with any outfit so far. The wood base and heel mimic the standard Sanita boot wooden sole with a 2″ heel and rubber traction on the ball of the foot so there’s no slipping and slidin’ happening. There’s more styles to come, but which one do you like better so far–the Adea or the Lola?

Sanita Clog Boot: Adea

Well, we’re veryyyy happy to announce that our full Sanita shipment has been sent and has finally finally arrived! Our new clog brand for the season, it holds up to only the most traditional Danish standards (while the shoes are actually made in Poland) and to timeless quality for a shoemaker. One of the first, original clog makers, originating in the early 1900s, Sanita clogs are something all together special. For instance, for every tree they use to make their classic wooden soles and heels, they will replant another one. Now there’s a brand that’s eco-conscious.

All week long we’re going to feature our new Sanita styles, and first up, is the Adea boot. A rich black suede and leather combo, the boot has a comfortable slouchy feel around the calf and a leather bow-tie to top it off (note: it’s not a drawstring). For such high quality and boot perfection, the $225 price tag, is completely worth it. It’s the first of many clog boots to come this week!

Sanita Clogs for Fall: Tanya

We’re starting off the fall season, by introducing a brand new brand to our store shelves: Sanita. It’s the one and only, “original Danish clog.” Since 1907, the clog company has been making their clogs BY HAND. No joke. We only pick the best in clogs, so we decided to go with the craftmaster of ‘em all. With a handful of styles coming in for the upcoming season, we’ve just already received the “Tanya” style. In the dark brown color and for $115, the clog gives any lady that extra height without being flashy. As a helpful note: the clogs only come in whole sizes and they’re running small. So if you’re a half size, we recommend going up not once but twice to the next whole size. The leather is hand stapled to the flawless wood on this style, and we’re already getting a good response to our first style for this new season’s brand!
