Fall 2012 Preview

I know it’s still Summer, well at least it felt like Summer 2 days ago, but in the Fashion World it’s now Fall. From this point on we are going to be getting in nothing but the Freshest, Hottest, most Bad Ass styles for Fall 2012. Swedish Hasbeens

We just got in the new Spring ’12 Swedish Hasbeens… Here’s a little inside info about the brand I bet you didn’t know. These shoes are definitely special.

The story

“Her name was Anita and she was the hottest mum in all of southern Sweden in the 1970’s. While smoking Camel she screamed at her kids until her curlers fell out and just looked fabulous in her white high-heeled clogs.One summer day in 2006 we found the shoes she wore (300 pairs of red, white and black beautiful clogs from the 70’s) in the basement of an old clog factory in the neighboring village and brought them to Stockholm. So for all these people that shared our love for Anita’s wooden shoes and for ourselves we started Swedish Hasbeens.”

YAY!!! For Spring Shoes…

She came in looking really cute, after adding these Sven “110-23 Mint” $170, she left looking fantastic. : )

Spotted these wonderful ladies relaxing and enjoying a beautiful afternoon at McCarren Park, after stopping by the Shoe Market first of course. : )

I love the way these Bass “Mendy” sandals $59 went perfectly with her outfit.

Her socks added a great POP to these Swedish Hasbeen’s “60′s Sling Back” $210.

Swedish Hasbeens: Not a Boot for Your Grandma

So you’re probably think, why in the world would we get in stock at this point in the season a clog boot? But, let us tell you, this just isn’t any kind of clog boot. The Swedes Continue to Arrive: Mimmi

Our last couple Swedish Hasbeens selection arrived, and we couldn’t be move in love with the cute, new “Mimmi”. With the traditional Hasbeens high heel and the perforated leather, so feet can breathe easy in the upcoming season, the Mimmi gives the wooden clog, a cutesy, adorable flair, something the clog could use every now and again. Top off the clog with a lil’ leather bow, and we’re feelin’ the cute side of this clog for only $230. We’re so happy to have the Hasbeens on the shelves this season!

Swedish Hasbeens Week: Braided Sky High

Carrying on with our salute to Swedish Hasbeens this week, we have the Braided Sky High in navy. (Note: Picture above is the regular braided clog. The sky high adds another inch to the heel.) Still has all the same awesome qualities we shared before about Hasbeens: natural wood, putting the “cool” in “clunky”, and goes well with any upcoming spring/summer outfit. We go ga-ga over anything braided too (you might remember a similar Sven style last summer that encompassed with design). Plus, all Hasbeens have got real leather and hand-made qualities goin’ on. As we said last time, this ain’t no real Hasbeen, because this brand is so right now!

Swedish Hasbeen Week: 60′s Slingback

We’re so excited to be bringing you a brand new brand for Shoe Market this Spring, and to add to our clog fever that keeps rising with the upcoming seasonal temperatures. We just can’t get enough of the Swedish Hasbeens brand, so we ordered a slew of them to stock and to see on all the feet this season. Starting with the 60′s Slingback: it’s got a 4″ heel and 1″ platform in the front; layered and entwined black leather that sits hand stapled on natural wood. we love that this is one close-toed heel that has a lil’ Mary Jane-esque goin’ on with it.
