Frye “Maya” Makin’ It Easy

We have a lil’ history lesson for you all or think of it more as some fun facts to know about Frye: 1) Frye is the oldest continuously operating shoe company in the United States. 2) Frye has an illustrious history: Frye boots were worn by soldiers for both sides of America’s Civil War, soldiers in the Spanish-America war, and for Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders. 2a) Many New England families during the mid and late 1800’s wore Frye boots as they pioneered across the country to the West.

Now, it’s a fact that Frye is know for their boots, but the same quality and care goes into their other types of shoes, and that’s why we stock heels, boots and more from Frye. The “Maya” is our idea of perfection in a peep-toe. You might remember another Frye “Maya” peep-toe if you’ve been browsing this website for awhile now, as last year’s Spring collection had a studded Maya peep-toe complete with a bow. The Maya has gotten an upgrade and a slimmer look this season: this season it’s about the woven and braided leather side pattern on the shoe that accentuates the shape and natural arch of the foot. Premium leather and comfort combine for long-lasting heel that can HANDLE these city streets. Frye’s quality comes at a cost: $175. But for the heel that will take you through some years, it’s a price that makes life and walkin’ all the more easier.

Lace Up the Leg with Frye Melissa Tall Lace

We promise not too much bombarding of Frye after this post for the season, but when there’s Frye we have to share. And share we will with the Melissa Tall Lace. A great boot that straps the leg in and perfect to wrap around tights or skinny jeans. Leather is always supple and never stiff with their boots, so you’ll have no problem taking to the dark brown boot for $398. The boot doesn’t mess around with laces, leather or quality. It’s a boot not to be reckoned with, so you might as well just give in.

Frye’s the Name of the Boot Game

You might be wondering at this point what’s with all the Frye? Honestly now, you might also say. It’s just too much, you might think. WRONG, we think. Frye time and time again continues to produce hardy, and we mean hardy, leather boots each season, that really can last a lifetime. So we’ll never quit our love for the company that makes our heart beat the boot beat. And we’ve got one of their classic styles in stock, “Melissa” and not just any Melissa style of boot, but the Melissa Button. For $318, the smooth, brown boot can fit on to your feet and walk right out of the store in to the fall weather that’s settling around the city. There’s no need to ask “why?” when you’re wearing Frye (yes, rhyme intended).
